brickpdx July Updates.

Since we've chatted...

We welcomed our first pop-up!

We are excited to welcome our first pop-up in the brickpdx space, HolyVoids x NDA Leather. They have thoughtfully curated a brick and mortar concept highlighting their own hand crafted leather goods and garments, and featured some of their local friends too — Penrose Candles and Aesthete Tea. Our friends over at The Relationship Design Hospitality Co. also provided some furniture pieces for their display. Truly, a wonderful collaboration.

HolyVoids x NDA Leather will be in the space until October 31, so drop by when you are in our area! Hours are:

M-T: Closed
W: 11a - 5p
Th-Su: 12p - 6p

We hosted our first brickpdx Block Party.

We had a wonderful night showcasing four local makers in our space — Dancing Heron Illustration (photo, right), Kehrberg CeramicsLittle Tomato Glass and Drink Shrub. We will have Kehrberg Ceramics in the upper portion of our space for sell until the end of August, so if you’d like to see some pieces, drop by when the retail shop is open!

If you’d like to be featured at a future block party, please fill out this form.

And now… some news!

brickpdx June Updates.

Hey brickpdx supporters!

Read below for our June update.

Since we've chatted...

We opened our doors for our first Open House.

We were so grateful to meet you, the very reason we are creating this space. It was wonderful to get to know you, learn more about passions and ideas, and roll that big door up!

The night wouldn’t have been possible without our sponsors:

Happy Mountain Kombucha | Rose’s Refreshers | Magna PDXBy Kay Floral Studio

We hosted Merde and Mega Dance Church.

Merde, an inclusive open mic night hosted by Nikki Burian Bone Velvet, featured eight different pieces by diverse performers. Attendees learned how to space travel, indulged in ambient LA-esque rap and song and heard stories of surviving homeschooling, challenging gender identity and the connection of body/self.

Mega Dance Church, an all abilities movement class hosted by Bone Velvet, warmed up the space with tracks from Beychella, Lizzo and Frank Ocean. It was wonderful to create an inviting, open space where all bodies could express themselves through movement.

And now… some news!
